Belfast Met website hacked by trolls
They claimed NRC is better
Belfast Met’s website was hacked and no one knows who did it.
Yesterday, the homepage of the Belfast Met website was hacked by trolls. The website text was changed to “we suck cock – NRC is better.” It’s unconfirmed whether the trolls were students from Northern Regional College.
Belfast Met IT student, Liam told The Tab: “This is more than just an attack on The Met, this is an attack on our entire city. We need to retaliate in full force.”
Belfast Met Software Engineering student, Maria said: “I doubt this reflects the entirety of NRC, just a few melters who took the craic a bit too far.”
The hack was taken down and for now the website now is fixed, but who knows what the future will hold.
