Rowdy school reunion leaves Dulwich College boys BANNED from Madiha

A group of Dulwich College boys have been kicked out and banned from Madiha curry house in Jesmond after their school reunion got out of control. 

Ex-pupils were asked to leave the restaurant after they chanted the school song, reeled off crude stories and smashed glasses over their foreheads at the annual reunion dinner.

The Old Alleynians, dressed in full uniform, then headed to Cosy Joe’s where they were denied entry for being “too drunk”, before stopping off at Pop World where they ordered 60 shots.

The night started with a curry at Madiha on Holly Avenue, and the boys who arrived more than 20 minutes late were force-fed the hottest chilli on offer.

The boys, who dined in their school blazers, ties, and black trousers even sent one former pupil home when he turned up in joggers and a hoodie.

Newcomers were then initiated by being asked to offer up a personal sex story, before “punishment shots” were ordered for anything from “shit chat” to incorrect uniform.

Outraged restaurant owners issued their first warning of the night when the old boys started chanting Pueri Alleynian, their school song, which was deemed “too loud” for other dining customers.

The final straw came when some boys started smashing glasses over their heads. They were then swiftly booted out and barred from the popular Jesmond curry house.

The Dulwich boys then headed to Cosy Joe’s where they refused entry for being “too drunk”, and then on to Pop World.

The reunion took one last turn for the worse when the lads rocked up at Swingers and the night descended into “carnage”.

Speaking exclusively to The Tab, one of the Old Alleynians said: “It was carnage from then on. The boys were falling down the stairs of Swingers… the organiser was kicked out of Swingers within 15 minutes.”

And it’s not the first time a Dulwich reunion has spiralled out of control. One of the boys told us that they were kicked out of the same restaurant last year. He said: “It always gets this loose. We were kicked out of the same curry house last year.”

The school, which features in Tatler’s public school guide every year, is famous for producing half of the Chemical Brothers, Nigel Farage, Nick Easter and Andrew Sheridan.

Dulwich College also features in the music video for H ‘two’ O’s 2008 hit “what it’s gonna be”.

But they’re not the only group causing havoc in the restaurants of Newcastle.

Just weeks ago The Tab revealed the The Bedale Club – an elite Newcastle dining society who claim in the past to have trashed restaurants and throw £7K cash in the air at a typical dinner party.
