We rounded up the best and the worst of Bellogate
Last night UCL’s email server was brought to its knees after a hacker pretending to be Provost Michael Arthur sent an email to all 12,000 students.
Thousands of spam messages and abusive emails were circulating soon after the initial message was sent, at 10.47.
Student email accounts were signed up to several porn sites, religious dating agencies and extremist political parties.
We rounded up last night’s best and worst.
