The SU didn’t get back to us on how much they’ve forked out for Spenny’s forthcoming cameo. Instead, we spoke to the MIC star’s agency Aries Entertainment Limited who placed his fee at a staggering £3500 + VAT + travel + accommodation.

That £3500 alone could buy 1,944 double vodkas on a Plug Thursday, 1,166 Sainsbury’s Meal Deals, or 4,375 packets of Super Noodles.

The self-proclaimed ‘promiscuous animal’, eternally on the hunt for his next bedfellow, was exposed after sleeping with a star-struck student when visiting Birmingham last year.

Poor Spenny was publicly shamed when the anonymous third year declared that he was ‘pretty shit’ and ‘didn’t really know what he was doing’.

In 2012 Spenny appeared on Channel 5’s The Bachelor in the apparent pursuit of love

After being spurned by the Eton-educated lothario, contestant Danielle Sheehan exposed him in an interview with the Daily Mail as, to the surprise of none, only being in it for the sex.

Spenny’s emasculating death blow was dealt when Sheehan revealed that any girls taller than the 5ft 9in star were made to wear flat shoes.

He got a bit fat 

Yep, Spenny let himself go a bit. But then MIC co-star Rosie Fortescue said he looked like a “fat baker boy”. And sure enough, a fortnight later, he scurried off to a weight loss boot camp.

But don’t feel too sorry for him- Spenny may have slimmed down but his ego doesn’t appear to have suffered any reduction in size.

Last year this nude photo of Spenny went viral, after an anonymous one-nighter sent the cheeky post-coital snap to a trusted friend and, predictably, the friend promptly posted it all over Twitter.

But unlike most people, for stoic Spenny this was water off a duck’s back.

Sadly for Spenny, he has been ridiculed over many of the book’s gritty anecdotes, such as the one about the time he ‘was tricked into sleeping with a prostitute’ and the time he ‘accidentally took acid’- an experience he described so wisely as being ‘like Fear and Loathing in the West Country’.
