The Dukes Theatre will be hosting its first ever food festival, celebrating different cuisines and tastes from around the world.

The festival is on the 2nd of June and celebrates diverse cuisines from food suppliers, restaurants, and independent food businesses based in Lancaster and Lancashire.

Entry tickets for the festival are free, however, an arrival time must be booked in advance anytime from 10:30 am until 2:30pm.

Local favourites involved in the festival include The Quarterhouse, Filberts Bakery, Pzazz Pizza, Nami Sushi, Talk About Tasty and Caribbean Cuisine.

Furthermore, multiple businesses around Lancashire will be at the festival, including Morecambe Bay Gin Distillery, Three Wheel Gin Co, Bowes Dairy Produce, and Carrington Coffee Co.

The food festival is celebrating this year’s award-winning play in the park, “Around The World In 80 Days”, which will take place in Williamson Park between 21st July and 27th August. The play begins every day at 7:15 pm, with a BSL-interpreted show playing on Friday 28th July. Tickets can be purchased from £16 here.

The play follows Phileas Fogg and his explosive journey of “romance, trickery and shenanigans” in the adventure of a lifetime as he attempts to travel around the world in just 80 days. The trailer for the play can be watched on Youtube.
