Sean 'Diddy' Combs house raid

Right, here’s why Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs house has been raided by US law enforcement

He’s faced a lot of allegations

All of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs houses in Los Angeles and Miami were raided by police on Monday. US Homeland Security charged homes belonging to the rapper following a string of sexual assault accusations, which have been made against him in the past six months.

Diddy has huge mansions in Los Angeles’ affluent Holby Hills area, near Bel Air and Beverly Hills. According to reports, the police raids are “in connection with a federal sex trafficking investigation,” Fox 11 claimed.

Meanwhile, a statement from Homeland Security confirmed on Monday: “Earlier today, Homeland Security Investigations New York executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami and our local law enforcement partners. We will provide further information as it becomes available.”

NBC news have claimed, according to an anonymous source, that three women and one man had been interviewed by police in Manhattan and three further interviews had been scheduled in relation to claims of sex assault, sex trafficking, and the solicitation and distribution of drugs and guns.

It’s yet to be confirmed whether Sean is the focus of the investigation as police are yet to provide further details into the case. Aerial footage of the raid obtained by Fox 11 showed multiple people, including two me, handcuffed outside his property.

In the past half a year, Sean has been subject to multiple allegations of sexual assault. In February, a male producer claimed Sean had assaulted him and forced him to sleep with sex workers. The lawsuit also accused him of numerous instances of groping, other sexual touching and claimed he’d made a man work in a bathroom while he showered and walked around naked.

In December, a separate law suit also claimed Sean had gang-raped a 17-year-old girl in 2003 after giving her alcohol and drugs at his studio in New York. Allegedly, he then raped her with two colleagues. The assault was referred to as part of a “sex trafficking scheme” where the victim was flown by private jet from where she lived in Michigan to New York.

Sean has denied all accusations made against him and called the allegations “sickening”, adding those who filed the lawsuit against him were “looking for a quick payday”.

Wait, and what happened to the law suit made by Cassie against Sean?

Four months ago, Cassandra Ventura (Cassie) filed a massive lawsuit against Sean, claiming she had been trafficked, raped and beaten by him many times over the decade they’d known each other. She alleged she faced “a cycle of abuse, violence, and sex trafficking” until their relationship ended in 2018.

Cassie said in a statement to the Times: “After years in silence and darkness, I am finally ready to tell my story, and to speak up on behalf of myself and for the benefit of other women who face violence and abuse in their relationships.” Sean denied all the allegations.

One day after the filing, Cassia and Sean reached a settlement. “I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control,” Cassie said at the time. “I want to thank my family, fans and lawyers for their unwavering support.”

Meanwhile, Sean’s lawyer added to CBS News: “Just so we’re clear, a decision to settle a lawsuit, especially in 2023, is in no way an admission of wrongdoing. Mr. Combs’ decision to settle the lawsuit does not in any way undermine his flat-out denial of the claims. He is happy they got to a mutual settlement and wishes Ms. Ventura the best.”
