These Disney Channel stars are still friends

Vanessa Hudgens to Zac Efron: The ex-Disney Channel stars who are actually still pals

That’s what friends are for!

The stars of the Disney Channel defined many of our childhoods, but are they still friends? Sometimes, friendship fades but not for these people who made their names with the help of Mickey Mouse. These pals have stood by each other through the highs and lows of life like weddings, career flops and becoming parents. That’s what pals are for! Here are the Disney Channel stars who are still friends.

Vanessa Hudgens, Monique Coleman and Lucas Grabeel

Vanessa’s wedding to Cole Tucker last year was a defacto High School Musical reunion according to Monique Coleman’s Instagram. Monique posted a photo montage of the big day that featured not only her but with Lucas, who played Ryan Evans, the twin of Ashley’s Sharpay. Ashley’s absence cast doubt on whether she was still friends with Vanessa, who had been a bridesmaid at her wedding to Christopher French in 2014.

Bella Thorne and Zendaya

After meeting and becoming friends on Shake It Up in 2011, Bella and Zendaya have go on to bigger and better things. While they are probably too busy to see each other regularly, they have managed to salvage good feelings towards each other and have spoken fondly of each other in interviews.

Bridget Mendler and Naomi Scott

Bridgit and Naomi met while starring in the Disney Channel Original movie Lemonade Mouth and have supported each other in life since. Bridgit walked the carpet at her Power Rangers film premiere in 2017. Naomi was in Bridgit’s bridal party in 2019 when she tied the knot to her husband Griffin Cleverly. She’s also probably met Bridgit’s adopted son.

Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato

Nick and Demi still think fondly of each other since their time working on the Camp Rock movies. Each year, they give each a shout-out on their Instagrams. Last year, Nick admitted that out of Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus and Demi, he’d marry her. This is if he wasn’t hitched to Priyanka Chopra.

Selena Gomez and David Henrie

The pair were very happy to be working together as on the reboot of Wizards of Waverley Place a few months ago. This is probably because of their well-documented existing friendship on social media.

Ross Lynch and Laura Marano

Ross and Laura became fast friends on the set of Austin and Ally and have continued to be so when the show wrapped in 2016.

Sabrina Carpenter and Rowan Blanchard

These two shot to fame on the Boy Meets World spin-off Girls Meets World. Sabrina admitted she and Rowan bonded together by “going through puberty together” in 2017. In 2021, Rowan gushed about her, saying they had drifted apart but that she loved her “cared about her deeply” to Teen Vogue. They probably haven’t seen each other recently as Sabrina might be too busy being the opener for Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour.

Zac Efron and Corbin Bleu

Zac might be one of the most in-demand names in Hollywood but he hasn’t forgotten his friends from his Disney Channel days. He was spotted catching his High School Musical bestie Corbin in Holiday Inn on Broadway. Along with the professional support, they have been spotted on each other’s socials for years in various fun settings.

Raven-Symoné and Anneliese Van Der Pool

These two had art imitate life after playing best friends Raven and Chelsea in That’s So Raven. Their friendship appears to have carried on and includes starring together in the show’s reboot Raven’s Home and appearing on each other’s social media.

Olivia Rodrigo and Madison Hu

Olivia hasn’t let becoming a Grammy-nominated pop girlie forget her Disney Channel star friends. She dubbed Madison her “soulmate” to PEOPLE magazine after they met on the series Bizaardvark in 2016.

Dove Cameron and Sofia Carson

These two became friends while making the Disney Channel movie The Descendants and have gone on record to talk about how the whole cast is “like a family“.

Olivia Holt and Leo Howard

Olivia and Leo have continued being friends and even work colleague since the wrap of the karate Disney Channel show Kickin-It. Olivia got Leo to star in her History music video.
