All the contestants from season two of The Traitors who have previously been on other shows

Take a shot for everyone who was on Deal or No Deal

If you think you recognise some of the faces of the contestants from the second season of The Traitors it’s because you do. For some of the contestants from the latest season, this isn’t the first time they have been on our screens with a fair few of them having been in other TV shows before taking part in The Traitors.

Whatever their reasoning for going on the show, from clout chasing to actually wanting to play the game, most of the The Traitors contestants come out the other end with a respectable Instagram following and a face that gets them recognised when walking down their local high street. What makes the The Traitors just so popular is that the contestants are all normal people that viewers can identify with but not all might be as it seems as some of this year’s cast have previously been on other shows – here’s where you recognise them from:

Paul was previously on Deal or No Deal and is also on a popular podcast

Traitor Paul has so far managed to be completely unassuming, proving himself to be a tremendous actor and also getting voted as the most popular contestant. It will probably come as no surprise to some considering his affinity with the tactics and skill of the game in The Traitors, that he is one of the contestants who has previously been on other TV shows.

Paul appeared on Deal or No Deal back in 2010 when he was only 22 years old and unemployed. He said at the time that along with winning the prize pot, he hoped by appearing on the Noel Edmond hosted show that it would launch his modelling career. Alas, that doesn’t seem to have worked.

The now 36-year-old however only came away with but a small of portion of the £250,000 total possible prize money. Speaking of his time on the show and working with Noel, he said at the time: “I don’t know whether that was just me, but I couldn’t keep my eyes off him. You know, some people are just born for the job they’re in. He was born to be a host on that show. He did it so well.”

Aside from his TV appearance, Paul is also known for being a frequent guest on the Chatabix podcast hosted by comedians Joe Wilkinson and David Earl. It was actually Joe and David who introduced Paul to the BBC show and encouraged him to apply for it, saying that they think “he’d win it.”

Kyra was also on Deal or No Deal, for some reason

Having not lasted long on The Traitors after becoming the second person to be murdered, viewers realised that her short stint on the BBC show was not her first TV appearance. Like Paul, Kyra was also randomly on Deal or No Deal previously and it was as recently as a couple of months ago. Kyra accepted the banker’s offer and left the ITV show with £1,800 after being left with either the £1 or £4,000 box.

Both Diane and Zack have famous family members

via HBO

Okay right, this is slightly cheating as Diane and Zack haven’t been on our screens themselves before The Traitors, as far as we know, but both of them have family members who have been in other shows. It was revealed in the latest episode of The Traitors that Ross is actually Diane’s son but Diane also has another son, Kerr Logan, who is an actor. Kerr played Matthos Seaworth in Game of Thrones from 2011 until 2019, the son of Ser Davos Seaworth who was played by Liam Cunningham.

Then whilst he isn’t an actor, Zack’s older brother Mathew is also recognisable from TV as he was on series 15 of Big Brother 10 years ago in 2014. Matthew lasted an 30 days in the BB house and only received two nominations during his time on the show before being eliminated in week five. It seems reality TV show stints runs in the family.
