Kardashians to DiCaprio: Celebrity Halloween 2023 costumes, ranked from worst to best

Listen, I know what we’re all really waiting for here is Heidi Klum’s Halloween costume. From Jessica Rabbit in 2015 to a worm in 2022, this is, undeniably, her day. But she never drops the look before her annual Halloween party. So, we’re just going to have to wait a few more hours for the big reveal.

But, in the meantime, plenty of other A-list celebrities have been posting pictures or getting papped in their 2023 Halloween costumes. And some are better than others. So, from Kylie Jenner to Leonardo DiCaprio here’s a rundown of Hollywood’s best Halloween fits, ranked from worst to best.

Cole Sprouse

I think I’ve died of boredom. Sorry. The male equivalent of putting on a pair of cat ears and calling it a day.

Kim Kardashian and North West

North West’s Dionne really ate this up but Kim looks more like Iggy Azalea than Cher Horowitz. Feels bizarre seeing her fail at a costume girls across the globe have done better from their dorm rooms for the past decade. Come on Kimmy, you’re better than that x

Leonardo DiCaprio

If I sidled up to the function in trackies I’d probably hide my face under a duck mask, too. This man is deeply unbothered.

Margot Robbie

Margot putting in about the same effort as Leo, except she shrugged out of her loungewear and into a blazer.

Kylie and Kendall Jenner

There was much confusion in the Instagram comments when Kylie and Kendall dropped their Halloween look. Most people were questioning whether they were Marilyn Monroe and Edward Scissorhands. They’re actually Sugar and Spice from Batman Forever, which has gone clean over almost everybody’s heads.

Ed Sheeran

I feel deeply uncomfy.

Ice Spice

Betty Boop is a big slay and Ice Spice delivered but feel like we could have gone in harder on the glam look here. Where are the cartoonish eye brows ! !

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly

When horror is sort of your entire personality, Halloween is a big night of the year. This Bride and Gogo Yubari costume from Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox is good. But what about SAG-AFTRA’s rules to not dress up as film characters until the end of the actors strike. Bad comrades.

Paris Hilton

Paris is slaying the house down in this Britney Spears Toxic music video inspired cabin crew fit. Plus, Phoenix is adorbs. No notes.

My favourite part about Florence Pugh’s costume was seeing her bop around in the background at Kendall Jenner’s Chateau Marmont party. Every pap shot of Kendall, Hailey and every other A-lister that showed up— there was Flo. Beard and all. Incredible.

Zoe Kravitz and Channing Tatum

Channing looking deeply serious while dressed in a blue oneside and little yellow bonnet has made the tail end of 2023 bearable. We should have known they were about to announce an engagement when Zoe managed to convince him to do this.

Justin and Hailey Bieber

Hailey and Justin as Pebbles and Bam Bam is cute. But, let’s get real, it’s when Hailey concocts a costume alone that she really shows everyone how to slay. Case and point, Carmen Electra from Scary Movie:

Christina Aguilera

And this year’s winner for me is Christina Aguilera as Cher. Chef’s kiss. End of.
