The wildest transformations from the Married at First Sight UK 2023 cast before fame

Before Married at First Sight UK 2023, some of the cast members underwent pretty wild transformations. From spending thousands on cosmetic procedures, to hitting the gym and ditching old makeup trends, this lot made sure they were feeling their best for their televised big days.

But, what did they all look before and after? Here is a roundup of the biggest transformations had by the cast of Married at First Sight UK 2023.

Peggy

Arguably one of the biggest of the Married at First Sight transformations comes from Peggy, who looked completely different when she appeared on Take Me Out aged 19. It must have taken years to get her dark hair looking so naturally blonde?!

When she was on Take Me Out, host Paddy McGuinness gave Peggy the nickname “Picky Peggy” due to how fussy she was with who she kept her light on for. She ended up heading to the Isle of Fernando’s with Andrew from Liverpool, but clearly that didn’t work out!

Georges

I recommend that everyone goes and takes a scroll through Georges’ old Instagram posts. They date back to around 2013, in his rugby boy, partying at uni days, and he looks so different.

It’s the commenting: “I looked so good last night!” on his own pictures, twice, for me.

Ella

Over the festive period, Ella hopped on the trend of sharing your “six year evolution”. She shared pictures of when she was brunette, and having what looks like facial reconstruction and nose surgery done.

Brad

The big shocker here is seeing Brad without his tattoos. On the show he has inked his face, and pretty much all of his neck is covered in tattoos. In old pictures his skin is without these, and he looks totally different. The photos are from his Instagram account, and date back to around 2014 and 2013. He’s 27 now, so the photos would be from when he was about 18.

Laura

Laura has also had one of the biggest transformations ahead of Married at First Sight UK 2023, and The Tab revealed she has spent around £1,000 on cosmetic work ahead of the show.

Ahead of her wedding, Laura had fat dissolving in the chin area, and sugar plum lip filler. In the past she has visited the same clinic, and has had anti-wrinkle injections, dermal filler and skin boosters.

Luke

Posting on Instagram, Luke shared some pictures of himself from 2010, where he looks wildly different. It’s the sweeping over hair, for me!

Shona

You know, if you’d asked me who from the MAFS UK 2023 cast was going to be the big 00s makeup trends girlie, I’d have said our girl Shona. I’m living for her purple lipstick and thick eyebrows era. She’s one of us!

Thomas

Look, I just want to know when Thomas got this hench? I’m amazed.

Erica

Erica didn’t change loads ahead of MAFS, but she did used to have blonde hair! Photos on her Instagram from a couple of years ago show her with the different hair style and it really suits her. Bring it back!

Nathanial

Ok, who is this?! Nathanial’s Instagram is an absolute gold mine, and has pictures from his 2014 party days when he used to go out with the likes of the cast of Geordie Shore, Rita Ora and Will.i.am, casually!

Adrienne

One of the first things Adrienne spoke about as she joined the show as a late bride was her body transformation. She said she has been on a journey feeling comfortable with herself, and is now ready to find love too.

She spoke of how in total she has lost eight stone since June 2017. “The best kind of love, is self love,” she said in an Instagram post about her journey.

In another post, she added: “A massive overwhelming feeling and reflection on the girl I used to be. Not just physically, but mentally. The journey I’ve came on to get to this point has been phenomenal. To everyone who has supported me and helped me get here, thank you. I will always try continue to help others along the way and inspire to show anything is possible.”

Mark

Mark is another late arrival to the show who has spoken quite openly about changes they’ve made to the way they look and feel. He said he lost five stone ahead of MAFS, and he looks loads different in throwback pictures.

In one Instagram post, Mark said: “I’ve been nervous about posting this as I’m quite shy. This is my #transformationtuesday post. Five stone weight loss last year which still shocks me every time I write it.”

JJ

There are loads of old pictures of JJ still up on his Instagram, and tbh if you’d asked me to picture JJ 10 years ago, he’s exactly as you’d imagine. Think regional night club promoter vibes, with sprayed on skinny jeans and polo shirts. Lots of extreme sepia-hue pictures of lads in clubs, on nights out and on party holidays.

He kinda looks like Luca Bish from Love Island?
