There’s a new thriller drama which has just been added to Netflix – and the cast of Witness Number 3 is just as good as the show itself.
The show follows hair salon owner Jodie, who is a witness in an ongoing murder investigation. Her giving evidence is much to the upset of the local gang, who attempt to intimidate her into dropping out of the case.
Here’s a full rundown of everyone you definitely recognise from the cast of Witness Number 3.
Jodie – Nina Toussaint-White
Lead role Jodie is played by Nina Toussaint-White. She is best known for her roles as DS Rayburn in Bodyguard, but she has also featured in Emmerdale, The Sister, Doctor Who, The Feed and Holby City.
PC Barkas – Sion Young
PC Barkas, who assists Jodie with her witness statements, is played by Sion Young. You might recognise him as Gareth in Keeping Faith, or from Deceit, Doc Martin, Private Peaceful or Casualty.
Detective Whelan – Clare Dunne
The other detective on the case, Whelan, is played by Clare Dunne. Clare Dunne has had roles in Kin, The Last Duel, Herself, Cynthia, and Spider-Man: Far from Home.
Po – Ruaridh Mollica
Most Read
Po – a member of the local gang – is played by Ruaridh Mollica. He played the lead in BAFTA and BIFA winning short film, Too Rough. He was also Patrick in Red Rose on Netflix.
Cathy – Sue Johnston OBE
Arguably the most famous face in this cast is Sue Johnston OBE, who plays Jodie’s mum, Cathy. Sue is best knows as Barbara in The Royle Family, but she has also had huge roles including Sheila Grant in the Channel 4 soap opera Brookside, Grace Foley in the BBC drama Waking the Dead, Gloria Price in Coronation Street and Miss Denker in Downton Abbey.
Paul – David Crowley
Paul is played by David Glynn Crowley, who is best known for his roles in Love, Rosie, Ripper Street and Red Rock.
