MAFS Australia 2024

MAFS Australia producers are ‘struggling’ to cast ‘genuine’ participants for the 2024 series

Yikes!

Married at First Sight Australia producers are struggling to cast genuine participants for the upcoming series, according to Daily Mail Australia.

Filming for the eleventh season of the marital experiment is set to begin a few weeks but Channel Nine are already facing issues.

“It’s a tough season for casting. We’re looking for people who are genuinely looking for love, not just a quick ticket to fame,” an insider claimed.

To make matters worse, it was claimed that rival network Channel 10 “poached” a groom for one of their own shows. While the groom hasn’t been revealed, he was reportedly set to play a “significant role” in season 11.

Sources claimed the groom was set to be the new villain but will now be on the upcoming season of The Bachelor. Both The Bachelor and MAFS Australia 2024 are slated to start late January 2024, after the Australian Open.

This wouldn’t be the first time The Bachelor and MAFS Australia have swapped brides and grooms. Harrison Boon was reportedly dropped from appearing on The Bachelor for being “too masculine”.

The show’s Instagram page recently uploaded a casting call for MAFS Australia 2024, revealing they were still looking for brides and grooms to join despite filming set to begin soon.

“Ready to settle down and find the one? Head to Nine.com.au/MAFS and apply for MAFS!” the post was captioned.
