Speaking during Members Only: Palm Beach episode six, Taja, 53, explained how she felt her childhood “wasn’t easy.”
She said she felt her father’s third wife “wasn’t very nice to her.”
Taja added: “Kiki always took her side, always. Emotionally, it made me feel completely alone.” But, these days, it appears they’ve all patched things up.
Parents and childhood aside, later on in life, she went on to meet her ex, David Cone, 62.
She explained: “My significant other and father of my child is David Cone.”

Introducing the world to who the main man in her life is, Taja said he is a former baseball player and five-time World Series winner, she smiles, adding: “I mean, I could go on and on…”
“David was always on the road travelling, especially during baseball season, so I lived my life pretty much as a single mother just like my mom did,” she explained.
He reportedly has a net worth of $30 million, per Celebrity Net Worth.
The two have a son together named Sammy, who was born in 2011. During the show, Taja said she always makes sure her family spends quality time together.
While she and David were previously reported to have split in 2022, Taja’s comments on Members Only: Palm Beach suggest they remain closely connected as a family, with people now speculating about the true state of their relationship today.
By the looks of things, they always remained a unit despite their split.
Back in 2022, Page Six reported that David and Taja went their separate ways. David had been “extremely generous with [Abitbol] financially” and throughout their relationship “spent millions on her, bought her homes and helped support her businesses.”
Per The New York Post, the two never married: “Our relationship has been the same since we started… I wear a ring, we’re engaged. We just never got married.”
But the two seemingly never really broke things off. David’s rep shared that after he’d undergone a hip replacement around the same time as their split, Taja flew to New York to be by his side for his recovery. She reportedly said: “I have been by his side and he is doing great… He is doing really good in his recovery.”
