Drag Race España judges Javier Ambrossi and Javier Calvo split up after 13 years together
The pair are planning to still work together professionally
RuPaul’s Drag Race España judges Javier Ambrossi and Javier Calvo have reportedly ended their relationship after 13 years together, but will continue to work together as judges on the show.
The couple created HBO Max’s Veneno show together, alongside appearing as judges on Drag Race España for five seasons, starring on one season of All Stars and also guest judges on RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All Stars.

The two got engaged in September 2017 during the premiere of The Call, with Javier Ambrossi asking Javier Calvo to marry him in the middle of the cinema.
He said at the time: “The film talks about the transformative love I feel for Javi, the love of my life. I think it’s time, I wasn’t going to do it, but do you want to marry me?”
According to reports from El País, Javier Ambrossi and Javier Calvo “ended their romantic relationship” but that they’re both committed to continuing “all of their shared professional commitments,” such as judging Drag Race España.

The outlet also reported that Javier Calvo was “alone at the La Revuelta meeting this Monday,” with Javier Ambrossi, who’s also been present at such events with him for over ten years, noticeably absent.
The outlet added: “Sources indicate that, from now on, it will be increasingly common to see them separately.”
