Um, Bella Hadid is being dragged for a resurfaced controversial post from years ago
The Internet will never forget this
Bella Hadid is getting seriously dragged for controversial social media posts that people have dug up. She wrote several X posts back in 2018, which the platform was called Twitter, which includes her account seemingly using the n-word, and uses offensive words.
One of the posts reads: “GOT ALL THE BLACK B*****ES MAD COS MY MAIN B**** VANILLAAAA,” which are the same lyrics as Tyler The Creator rapped in a song. Another post appears to read: “@Lana_Kai you can see my freckles,” before using the n-word, from 2012.
In another post, her account said: “Guess I’m not white #awkward.” It was in response to a tweet that said: “#YouKnowYou’reWhiteWhen you know all the correct lyrics to every gangster rap song ever made and sing every word except for [n-word].”
People have dug up the alleged old posts, including another that saw her account respond to, “Good night to the white girls with blue eyes,” which she replied, “Good night,” to. Someone commented, “You’re white?” and her account replied, “Did you think I was black?”
In yet another post from 2012, Bella’s account said: “Just stole a black man’s chicken. Oops.” At the time, Hadid was just 16 years old, and this isn’t the first time the old posts were dug back up. Just five years ago, in 2020, people found the model’s posts from her teenage years.
One person said, “Her former tweets were song lyrics and they were ignorant she is very clearly educating herself on the topic etc get a life,” while another shared their thoughts and wrote, “While she should have known better at 16, but they’re also really, really dumb.”
Hadid has been vocal about her stance on racism in the years after. She told Bazaar in 2020: “I hate that some of my Black friends feel the way they do. Even if they’re sitting front row, they’re not feeling accepted. I have so much responsibility to use my platform for good.”
