All the wild changes Drag Race’s Katya has undergone as she debuts her new look
She suddenly has early noughties hair
Katya from RuPaul’s Drag Race has given everyone a jump scare with her new look, while appearing on a podcast. She’s usually glammed up to the nines for all of her public appearances, so when she casually donned an unbrushed-hair type of glam, we were shook.
People keep saying her hair looks like it belongs to the early 90s, and it’s got everyone asking what cosmetic work she’s had done. She had no make-up on during her recent recording on The Bald And The Beautiful With Trixie and Katya, which she co-hosts.
As for what cosmetic work she’s had, Katya openly revealed she got botched botox on a boat once, eight years ago. She jokily admitted it cost her $700 to get shadow botox, which apparently didn’t work, and admitted she wanted a nose job done back then.
One person said in reaction to her appearance, “From the front she’s giving gym bro, from the side it’s full on German exchange student,” while someone else called her “Machine Gun Katya.” Another said, “It’s giving retired pro wrestler (entertainment variety).”
Katya is known for wearing make-up so well that she can enhance her natural features, but has jokily admitted she’s had her thighs, sides and “extra fatty deposits on her obliques” reduced in the past. She’s even said her nose is “so crooked” during a makeup tutorial.

More recently though, Katya is wearing a white cutoff vest with tattooed arms, and is wearing a new unstyled blonde wig. The lace is shining at the front of her forehead, but it’s not like Katya hasn’t looked different for the last few months, as she’s been soft-launching.
When asked what plastic surgery she’d have if she had to, Katya chose Botox in the forehead and crows feet, filler in the top lip, and tattoos all over her body – and the latter is exactly what she’s had done! Talk about manifesting.
