Jim Chapman’s sister finally reveals what happened to his and Tanya Burr’s dog Martha Moo
All the questions of my youth have been answered
After six long years, Jim Chapman’s sister has finally answered all of our questions about his and Tanya Burr’s dog, Martha Moo. The two YouTubers were together for 12 years before deciding to separate and later remarry to new partners, but their dog was truly loved.
Ever since they split, there was one main question, and it pointed to what happened to their beloved pooch when they got split up in 2019. Martha Moo was nowhere to be seen in any of their pictures, so it was clear neither of them decided to keep her for themselves.
Thanks to Jim’s sibling, the CEO of Real Techniques, we’ve got our answers. And before you start freaking out, we can confirm Martha Moo is well and truly alive, and looks happier than ever, after one of their friends decided to take her in to live on their farm.
@nicchapmanhaste Where’s the hound? Question answered
Nicola Chapman revealed that she questioned her brother as to why he won’t tell people what happened to Martha, because they still constantly get messages about it. She explained that Jim would “love to” but was hesitant to talk about it because Tanya hadn’t done so.
“Jim moved out of their house and into a flat that I had in London, which had no garden. Unfortunately, around the same time, Martha had a problem with her back, sausage dogs often have a vertebrae that affects their back. She could no longer go upstairs,” she said.
She explained how Martha needed rehab for her back, which also meant she needed “a lot more time and 24-hour care,” but because Jim and Tanya had separated, it “made it very difficult.” Nicola added Jim and Tanya “had to work 24/7 and not have each other as a backup.”

After Tanya and Jim reached out to family and friends to help them, it was Hannah, Nicola’s sister-in-law’s friend, who lives in Norfolk on a farm, who took Martha Moo in. She already has a sausage dog, and was happy to continue taking the pooch to her rehab appointments.
Nicola said, “She’s absolutely fine, is still alive, they gave money to pay for Martha’s rehab, she is running around happily,” before sharing footage of the dog having a lie down and a walk around in the garden. Our prayers have been answered, finally!
