Michael Theo sadly confirms Love on the Spectrum Australia won’t be getting a third season
But he did reveal he's found love at long last!
Michael Theo starred in Love on the Spectrum Australia, and quickly became one of the most iconic and beloved cast members.
However, despite the success of the US version on Netflix, Michael sadly confirmed in an interview with TMZ’s Big Down Under podcast that the show will not be getting a third season.
He also revealed that he’s currently in a new relationship, with the pair having been together for just over nine months.
Michael revealed: “I’ve actually found someone.” When he was asked whether his relationship would be shown on the show or “off-air”, Michael confirmed “off-air” adding that “there isn’t going to be a third season of the Australian Love on the Spectrum.”
Michael continued, saying that despite the shows cancellation he’s “still proud to have been on Love on the Spectrum but that chapter is closed now.”
The interviewer then asked Michael whether he ever has any conflict in his new relationship, and if so how they go about solving it.
The Love on the Spectrum Australia star responded: “We don’t really have that much conflict at all, we just talk things over if there is anything. It is an amazing relationship but it’s definitely not perfect, no relationship is perfect.”
As for where Michael and his mystery new girlfriend met, he revealed that they “met at her workplace” with the two being together for about “nine months”
Finally, Michael addressed whether he prefers dating on or off-screen, saying: “There is a difference. I find dating off-screen more intimate.”
He added that whilst he had thought about posting he and his new partner together on Instagram he didn’t want to risk her receiving any “nasty comments or threats from jealous women.”
