‘Not a good look’: Reality TV star worth millions slammed for collaborating with SHEIN
Some people already predicted this would happen at some point
Scheana Shay has just released a new book after spending years sharing her life on Vanderpump Rules, and now she’s working with none other than SHEIN. She’s being slammed for the recent collaboration, especially as she’s worth $700,000.
The reality TV star has even reached fourth in the New York Times bestseller list, but she isn’t stopping there. Somehow, she couldn’t turn down the offer to work with Shein, a global fast fashion company which is known for its lower-priced items.
Scheana’s pieces with Shein cost $3 to $50 and obviously, they called it Scheina. She’s admittedly worn clothing from the company herself, so decided to finally just bite the bullet and launch her very own collaboration with the brand.
She told Style Caster: “People have mocked me for wearing so much SHEIN. So I was like, you know what? Why not embrace it? SHEIN by Scheana. And I think it’s, this is something fun. It’s empowering. SHEIN totally gets my style. There’s something for everyone.”
“It’s affordable, it’s size inclusive. It goes all the way up to 4X. And I love doing coordinated looks with my family, whether it’s planned or not, we happen to match often, and now we’ve got an entire collection to do it with,” Scheana added.
Now, people are slating her. One person said, “She is officially grasping at any deal possible no matter how cheap or trashy. Very on brand,” while someone else wrote, “It makes me absolutely sick that people with public platforms do this instead of using it for good.”
Even her husband Brock Davies is wearing Scheana’s collection. “He walked out the door this morning and he looked so good going this parent meeting we had at school, and he was like, Yeah, SHEIN. It’s from the shoot. And I was like, I like it,” Scheana added.
