Love Island USA stans are literally gobsmacked, baffled, and bewildered this summer finding out that JaNa Craig and Kenny Rodriguez are no longer together. We literally all thought these two were end-game. They left Love Island USA season six an official couple. And, they literally couldn’t have looked more settled and loved-up in all their social media posts and interviews?! It’s only right that we run through a timeline of how on earth we got here, as things are seriously getting out of hand on Instagram Stories.
JaNa and Kenny left Love Island USA together
Watching Love Island USA season six back and JaNa and Kenny seemed like they had it all: chemistry, compatibility, and everyone rooting for them from the moment they coupled up. But behind the sun-soaked selfies and matching outfits was a slow-burning fallout that’s now exploded into public view.
Shortly after their exit from the villa in August 2024, JaNa and Kenny confirmed their relationship was the real deal. They gave joint interviews, launched YouTube Q&As, and flooded Instagram with PDA-filled photos that had fans convinced they were the next Hannah and Marco. In the Love Island off-season, they were easily the it couple of the franchise.
The two maintained their long-distance love
After Love Island USA, JaNa relocated to Las Vegas to pursue modelling opportunities, while Kenny stayed in Dallas to focus on fitness coaching. Though they claimed to be “figuring it out” with long-distance, cracks began to show in late 2024 to early 2025.
During filming of Love Island: Beyond the Villa, rumours swirled about tension between them, especially after JaNa hinted at “living separately for now” in a Q&A.
David Dobrik’s birthday party
After JaNa and Kenny’s split came to light, people began speculating that David Dobrik’s birthday party in July 2025 shows the last moments they were together as a couple.
JaNa and Kenny were photographed together at the celeb-packed birthday bash. While they smiled for photos and danced the night away, it now appears to have been a final attempt to project unity.
Sudden unfollowing and deleting pics
Less than 24 hours later, JaNa unfollowed Kenny on Instagram, wiped all their couple photos, and removed his name from her bio. Within hours, Kenny’s comment sections were flooded with confused fans asking: “Wait, are you and JaNa done?”
Co-stars Serena Page, Kordell Beckham, and Leah Kateb followed suit, unfollowing Kenny, which only added fuel to the fire.
At the time of writing, Kenny still has his posts with JaNa on his IG profile.
Bitter statements unleashed
JaNa made her feelings very clear on Instagram Stories, posting how “the relationship hasn’t been genuine since day one,” and that the breakup is “disgusting and disappointing.” Kenny then released a notes-app-style statement on IG Stories, saying how some relationships “can’t last long-term.”
JaNa’s response? She reposted his note with a savage comment: “You not taking accountability and telling people the type of person you really are is insane to me!! My first statement was me being nice. Do not p**s me off.” And just like that, any chance of a private, mature breakup was obliterated.
At this point, there’s likely zero chance of reconciliation. JaNa has already deleted all traces of the relationship and is focusing on her solo projects. One thing’s for sure: Love Island USA may be a dating show, but the breakups hit just as hard as the couplings and JaNa and Kenny’s was pure reality TV gold.

If you thought JaNa’s IG Story was something, just wait until you hear what their fellow Islanders had to say. The claws are well and truly out, and Kenny is at the receiving end of some very public fury.
Shortly after Kenny posted an alleged “ChatGPT” breakup statement wishing JaNa “nothing but happiness,” things took a wild turn. While his note struck a tone of gratitude and emotional maturity, it didn’t sit right with many, especially JaNa’s inner circle. Her close friend and former co-star Olivia Walker reshared Kenny’s post with an absolutely scathing caption: “Your pathetic excuse for a story is laughable… I hope this gives you the clout you always wanted, you f***ing loser.”
Then came JaNa herself, who clearly reached her limit. She reposted another brutal takedown originally penned by castmate Kaylor Martin, which slammed Kenny as “a poor excuse of a man” and declared: “You lost the most beautiful genuine soul. Shame on you.”
And if you thought that was her final word, think again. JaNa doubled down with a raw and unfiltered message, calling Kenny a “manipulative liar” and accusing him of dodging accountability while misleading fans about the real reasons behind their breakup.
Things don’t stop there, either. Love Island USA’s Instagram account shared some snaps of JaNa from the show on their page, and the show’s host, Ariana Madix, also unfollowed Kenny.
Leah Kateb also took to IG Stories to accuse Kenny of being a “scammer.” She wrote: “Put a sock in it ChatGPT heada**. Tell the truth for once!”
The floodgates are open, and the Love Island alumni clearly aren’t holding back. With friends turning foes and receipts being aired out by the hour, this breakup isn’t just messy, it’s becoming reality TV history.
