Nic opens up about whether he’ll make things official with Olandria after Love Island USA
He admitted he's 'smiling from ear to ear' in clips with Olandria
Nic has revealed his future plans with Olandria, and whether he reckons they’ll become official after Love Island USA. He explained that they’re currently hanging out but confirmed he won’t be moving in with her, but rather fellow Islanders Bryan and Chris.
He and Olandria plan to visit each other’s families and attend college football games together, while Nic explained how he’s already looking forward to the reunion on August 25th, “to hash things out and for certain truths to be revealed.”
While they aren’t labelling their relationship as “boyfriend and girlfriend” yet, they are enjoying each other’s company and doing “boyfriend and girlfriend things.” They are taking things at a comfortable pace, Nic told the Chicks In The Office podcast.
Recalling his journey with Olandria, he admits it “wasn’t an immediate switch” but admits they bonded over “feeling lost and confused” as their former partners, Cierra and Taylor, the latter who had moved on with Clarke, were no longer in the picture.
He explained how the two main things that deepened their connection included the baby challenge with ‘Marcel’ and the family visit day, where both their mothers expressed support for their relationship. Nic also described Olandria as his “support system”.
As for that iconic post-Casa Amor moment, Nic explained how he was “genuinely surprised and thankful when Olandria picked him up”, thinking he was just getting a ride to the airport, but instead ended up going on a date with her.
They’ve also gone on a triple date to Disneyland recently, but Nic explained how she’s “taking baby steps” in the public eye and “feels shy,” adding that he’s also felt “overwhelmed but filled with love and support” since leaving the villa.
