AJ and Britney reveal exactly what happened during secret meetup on The Ultimatum: Queer Love
AJ admitted the pair had met up off-camera twice during trial marriages
During episode four of The Ultimatum: Queer Love, we see former couple AJ and Britney sneaking out of their apartments to meet up, not returning until after one in the morning.
During a conversation with Marie the next morning, AJ admitted to her that she and Britney had met up in secret two times but stated that “moving forward that’s not my concern.”

Whilst we saw the pair of them leaving to secretly meet up and returning to their apartments, we have no idea what happened off-camera, until now.
In an interview with E! News, AJ and Britney revealed exactly what happened and what was said during their secret meetup on The Ultimatum: Queer Love.
Britney explained: “I was going through it, and I didn’t know up from down, left from right. I felt like I was just losing all sense of reality and my actual life.”

She explained that the only reason she went behind Marita’s back was because she felt like she was in “crisis mode”, adding: “I was about to get on the highway on the i-95 and take my ass right back to Orlando. I felt like I needed something to ground me.”
She continued: “The first time that I saw AJ, honestly, I was just angry. I was just letting out all the emotions that I’ve been holding in throughout dating week and not being able to see her… I was crying, I was yelling.”
However, during their second meetup just a few days later, Britney explained that the pair had had the chance to think things through, and AJ encouraged Britney to give Marita more of a chance.
Britney confessed: “She just said, ‘Lean on Marita.’ She told me, ‘I want you to. I know this isn’t what you expected or mentally prepared for during dating week, but trust the process.'”

As for AJ, she revealed that the pair agreed during their second meeting that it would be their last.
She explained: “I really was like, ‘Look, we’re not going to gain anything if we continue to try to make this bond outside of our trial marriages.’
“If we are meant to be together, then we will be. If we’re not, then we will grow as people, and we will gain so much more experience and life out of this than you would in a normal experience.'”
But it seems like AJ now has some regrets about meeting up with Britney behind Marie’s back, saying: “”What we needed in that moment, what I saw that Britney needed in that moment, was just a little piece of home.”
She added: “The process, in itself, is intense and super emotional. Me and Britney, we just had a moment of just being in reality and saying, ‘Hey, I need help. I’m not OK.'”
