Love Is Blind’s Mark finally breaks his silence in response to claims he cheated on Aubrey
She was 'blindsided' by their break-up
Love Is Blind season one star Mark has now broken his silence after his wife, Aubrey, claimed he cheated on her. She said she was “blindsided” by him after he made a shocking split announcement, just days after Aubrey called him out on social media for going out on St. Patrick’s Day instead of being a “family provider” for her and their two sons.
Love Is Blind’s Mark responds to rumors he cheated on Aubrey
Mark has denied rumors he cheated on Aubrey, after she claimed he had been unfaithful and gone partying for days. She’d said their divorce was “news to her” but Mark has now said he’s “not here to argue timelines or opinions” in the wake of their split. Aubrey wrote, “Because this was never a conversation or discussion. He got caught out with women and had to cover his tracks to maintain his ‘public image.'”
She added, “I had no part in this statement and its news to me, as it is to everyone else.” Yet in an interview with TMZ published on Tuesday, April 1, Mark said he wanted to make it clear there was no infidelity in his relationship with her. He also said he left a relationship that “wasn’t aligned with the peace and partnership he wants to raise his sons in – and his focus RN is on being a consistent, integral father.”
The former couple tied the knot in September 2022 and have two sons together, Ace and Axton. His desire to split was communicated “directly” and revealed his “intention was never to hurt or blindside anyone.” Mark continued, “I’m focused on peace, parenting, and protecting what matters most. The boys are the most important thing right now.”
Reality Shrine has contacted Aubrey for comment.
He ‘wants a healthier environment for the kids’
The split has been “a deeply personal and difficult transition,” Mark told People, and his goal was “never to create drama or disrespect anyone.” He said that he and Aubrey “decided to separate in hopes of creating a healthier, more peaceful environment for our kids,” adding that his “focus is on being a present, loving father and doing what’s best for our boys.”
He added that he won’t be “engaging in back-and-forths” and wrote: “But I do hope people can remember there are two sides to every story, and more importantly, two children at the center of this. I’m doing my best to handle it with grace, and I hope others allow space for healing too.”
