Axed Love Is Blind couple who got engaged on show reveal more about their romance in pods
The way they're still together now has me obsessed
Out of all the couples who featured on season eight of Love Is Blind, it’s genuinely a crime that Kylie and Brian didn’t make the cut, despite them actually getting engaged on the show, and still being together now!
Still, we’ve received various snippets from them about what their time on the show was like, and Kylie recently shared some pictures of them during their initial reveal, which are very wholesome.
However, Brian and Kylie recently did an interview with Q1024FM Radio, where they opened up more about what their time in the Love Is Blind pods was like, as well as what they did after the show stopped following them.
The interviewer started: “We didn’t see you on Love Is Blind but we know you guys had this great connection because here you are still a year later, so tell us about it.
“You have to get us caught up, so we saw you in the cast photos and little blips here and there, but tell us what it was like in the pods when you guys first met.”
Brian responded, saying: “Yeah, so the way it works is you start with dating everyone for a short amount of time, and so the whole process moves really fast, so you have to make decisions really quickly.”
Kylie was then asked when she started thinking that Brian could be the one for her whilst in the pods, and she responded: “Yeah, so we have a lot of similar backgrounds, upbringings and just a lot of similarities. So I think he was always towards the top of my list just because it was so easy.
“But as the days went on, the connection just kept growing, and I think we both did a good job of entertaining that there are other individuals in this experience, so we were both dating other people for a long period of time.
“Ultimately, it worked out for us and we got to proposal day and Brian proposed, and we did the reveal the next day and here we are now!”
When asked about how their reveal went down, Kylie admitted that they still haven’t received “any” of their footage from Netflix yet and revealed that even she doesn’t really know “what it all looked like.”
She continued: “We’re hoping we’ll eventually get a little bit of something, at least a picture or something.”
The two continued to share more about their time after the show stopped following them, with Brian adorably revealing that he and Kylie had their first “real world date” at the airport before they flew back home.
I’m so sad we didn’t get to see their whole story, but it’s very wholesome that they’re still together now, and I’m really rooting for them!
