So whilst we might be distracted by all the backstabbing and betraying happening on screen, let’s have a look inside The Stag where Million Dollar Secret was filmed.
The Stag is actually called Chateau Okanagan and is the largest private villa in the Okanagan Valley and regarded as one of the most luxurious estates in all of Western Canada.
It comprises of over 44 acres, including one kilometre of private shoreline which features over five beaches and numerous private hiking trails. The property also comes with a private chef, wellness spa and wine cellar.
Costing a hefty $10.2k per night, the property has a minimum stay of three nights which would come in at $30.6k, and as the Netflix show was filmed over more than three nights it’s safe to say it wasn’t the cheapest accommodation.
So, what else does The Stag offer the players of Million Dollar Secret aside from gorgeous grounds and lavish services?
Well, for when contestants want a bit of relaxation time, the chateau certainly delivers as it also features a billiard parlour with pool table, 12-seat theatre with reclining chairs, ballroom, gym, library, private dock.
Recreational equipment includes kayaks, tennis rackets and ball machine, ping pong table, Foosball table, and lawn games.
The property even offers an extensive private spa which includes a steam room, sauna, heated loungers, indoor and outdoor showers, massage tables, and hot tub, two pools and a tennis court.
