Love Island USA star charged with two felonies after arrest, including ‘terroristic threats’
She was previously arrested in 2024
Love Island USA star Hannah Smith faced two criminal charges earlier this year following her arrest in September 2024, according to documents obtained by PEOPLE.
Hannah Smith was a fan favourite whilst on Love Island USA but was arrested on Monday, 30th September, on two felony charges after allegedly threatening to punch a police officer.
According to police records, she was being escorted out of a venue in Atlanta for “disorderly by yelling and screaming” when the incident took place.

Earlier this year, on January 15th, The Love Island USA alumni Hannah Smith was charged with felonies of obstruction of officers and terroristic threats, according to court documents.
The prosecutors alleged in the charging document that Hannah “knowingly and willfully obstructed Cobb County Police Department Officer Kayla Winkfield, in the lawful discharge of her official duties by offering to do violence to said person, by lunging at and attempting to punch and kick Officer Kayla Winkfield.”
The document adds that at the time of her arrest, she was “intoxicated” and allegedly punched a member of emergency medical staff, however, they did not want to press charges against Hannah.

She then allegedly tried to punch a police officer who was attempting to assist her, and shortly after, she was arrested.
She was held on an $8,000 bond and was released under the conditions of her bail, including no consumption of alcohol, marijuana or non-prescribed drugs.
Mike Hawkins, a lawyer representing Hannah Smith, told TMZ that the Love Island USA star has “no memory” of the events occurring.
He stated: “Shortly thereafter she has no memory of the events that occurred during, or after the concert. Hannah is deeply troubled by these events. She regrets any actions she took that offended anyone, including law enforcement.”
