When it comes to having your shining moment on TV, it’s only natural that people want to look their best. But, in the world of reality TV, folks often take things super far. They’re usually opting for all kinds of nips and tucks to look nothing less than perfect for “lights, camera, action!”. Now, the Love Is Blind season 8 cast are looking so pristine that people can’t help but speculate who’s opted for surgery!
Teeth are stealing the Love Is Blind spotlight
Ironically, Love Is Blind is meant to be all about finding the one based on everything other than looks.
But, it seems the only thing that really blinding is the gnashers on the cast members as people say they cannot stop looking at the season 8 cast’s teeth.
Taking to Reddit, one writes: “But seriously, how nice are everyone’s teeth?!”
Another jokes: “If you know someone who just got their teeth done and then disappear for a few months, you’ll probably see them on Love Is Blind LOL.”
However, this lot apparently has nothing on Love Island UK contestants. That show, according to another Reddit user is “full of veneers.”
‘Freshly frozen foreheads all round’
The Love Is Blind surgery speculation continues on the thread as one person comments: “They definitely get Botox done before the show. You can tell everyone’s got a freshly frozen forehead and brow.”
Without knowing for sure whether the cast has really opted for a face-full of Botox, another chimes in: “Fresh filler too. So many female contestants’ faces look raw and uncomfortable.”
Some complaints roll in that the cast is actually too good-looking in season 8 and aren’t representative of what the show’s meant to be all about.
‘Credit cards are maxed out’
Just got cast for a reality TV show? Yes? Well, let’s hope you’ve got a credit card at the ready because apparently a whole new wardrobe needs to be bought.
According to Reddit, the perfectionism doesn’t stop at nipping and tucking. People are said to be upping their wardrobe and home decor game, too.
Props are being given to Dave for getting his “busted furniture” in shot and keeping it real.
Apparently, “A lot of people max their credit cards out on wardrobe, appearance and furniture right before going on.”
Anyone who thought outfits were provided, best get ready to have their bank balances battered, it seems.
One person writes: “Yes! I listen to out of the pods podcast with Deepti and Natalie from season 2 from time to time.
“This most recent episode Natalie said spent like $3,000 on her wardrobe for the show because you need to pack for basically 6 weeks.
“And they tell you not to wear black, white or neutrals. So she had to get an entirely new wardrobe basically.”
