Harry Jowsey tells people ‘hug your parents’ as his dad, Paul, sadly dies
Harry Jowsey is sadly mourning the loss of his dad, Paul, this December. The reality TV star takes to social media to tell his followers to “hug their parents” as he deals with the passing of his father. Harry shares the tragic news alongside a slider of photographs on Instagram, as well as in a TikTok video.
Four years ago, Harry Jowsey was a newbie to the reality TV world. He starred in Too Hot to Handle season 1 and has since added many more strings to his bow in the entertainment world. He was a contestant on Dancing With The Stars, graced many magazine covers, and now has his own podcast.
Harry Jowsey pays tribute to his dad
Taking to Instagram this winter, Harry pays tribute to his late father.
He’s turned off the comments on his post, and keeps his caption brief, writing:
“I love you Dad, I miss you. I’ll catch you on the other side.”
The Gold Coast native shares a slider of photos including family snaps, childhood photos of himself and his father, and one in black and white of him and his dad holding hands.
He also shares “some special moments” he had with his dad “over the last few weeks” on TikTok.
Harry writes: “I don’t really know what to do. Watching these videos makes me smile so I’m sorry if it’s all a bit sad. I just feel lost.”
Harry shares appreciation for his friends
At this heartbreaking time in Harry’s life, he’s urging people to treasure moments with their moms and dads.
He takes to IG Stories to share more photos of himself and his dad sitting side by side in their younger years and another when they’re both older.
Harry thanks people for their “lovely messages,” and says the “last few months of his life haven’t been easy in the slightest,” but he publicly thanks his friends for being there for him “through it all.”
The reality star thanks two of his friends in particular for getting videos from some of his dad’s favorite rugby players to him before his death.
Harry says: “It brought the biggest smile to his face.”
The 27-year-old shares the videos on his Stories, as well as the sweet moment his dad asks how he got them. “I got some good friends,” replies Harry.
