Love is Blind sisters, Nina and Tara, are both looking for love. It’ll be hard for a man to compete with their bond, or perhaps, if someone finds themselves torn over which of them to choose.
Tara is Nina’s younger sister, who’s “been her favorite since she was born”. The Love is Blind star is adamant that a relationship won’t work unless they “fit in seamlessly” with her loved ones.
Sisters join Love is Blind for first time
Sisters Nina and Tara are joining Netflix‘s Love is Blind for the first time the show has ever had siblings on the line-up. It’ll be hard for a man to ever come first, as the siblings are super close.
Tara is the younger sister, who describes her love life as “a bit bland” despite always being approached, from being asked out by her server during a meal to almost moving to Germany for her ex-boyfriend.
Nina, however, is three years older than 29-year-old Tara, and works as a journalist. For the past year, Nina has been healing from the heartbreak of ending a nine-year relationship with her ex-fiancé.
Nina says partner needs to ‘fit in’
Nina is adamant that her future husband fits in “seamlessly” with her family and friends, including her sister, “otherwise it just won’t work.” She’s now in her YOLO era, but has high standards for her partner.
“I’m most proud of the way that I handled that breakup [with ex-fiance of nine years],” she says. “I’ve done a lot of work on myself and now I’m killing it in every aspect. I feel amazing.”
Tara and Nina are closer than ever
Tara and Nina are closer than close, as she’s been her “favorite since she was born”. Both living in DC, they are of Arabic descent and visit Boston, Massachusetts, for the holidays, to visit their mother and father.
Nina shared a picture of their mom in Iran in the 1970’s, not long before The Handmaid’s Tale regime hijacked the country. Having grown up around strong parents, they are now taking on life together.
However, Tara said, “My past relationships have always been with someone who’s insecure with himself and not in the right place in their life. I’m always open to conversation — no matter how hard.”
