Kris and Lensa face religion differences
Although Kris and Lensa face religion differences, they are incredibly infatuated with each other. He made the romantic gesture of driving almost six hours to take Lensa, who is Muslim, out to dinner.
After that, she was falling for Kris, who is the son of a Pentecostal preacher, and started to notice how great they’d be as a couple. However, Lensa felt his father was “using hell to scare her”.
She felt as though she was being pushed away and told cameras: “You want me to believe you over the eye that Allah gave me? Despicable.” Lensa then left Kris and drove off in a car.
Dating Lensa has been ‘most challenging’
Kris admits that being in a relationship with someone “from a totally different culture, religion and upbringing” can be “one of the most challenging things you have to face”.
Lensa comes to odds with Kris’ family, in particular his father, who doesn’t agree that Lensa believes in a different faith. He says he’s “in a tough position,” being the son of a Pentecostal preacher’s son.
As fans wonder if Kris and Lensa stayed together, a good sign is they’re following each other on Instagram. However, there aren’t any pictures of Lensa on Kris’ social media page.
Lensa had already been in two arranged marriages and keeps her personal live away from the spotlight online. But from the moment she met Kris, she could “just tell he was going to be trouble.”
