Longtime Real Housewives of New Jersey fans will remember the good old days of Kathy Wakile and her family appearing on the show. As Kathy appears in interviews and podcasts these days, many people take to the comments to say how much they miss her and her sister, Rosie Pierri.
Although Kathy is no longer appearing on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, her name is still being mentioned these days. Melissa Gorga explained on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live this summer how Kathy has moved into a house on her street and talked of a potential reconciliation between cousins Joe Gorga and Kathy.
Melissa talks Kathy Wakile reunion
Appearing on Jeff Lewis Live, Melissa Gorga explained how Kathy and her family have moved into a house on the same street as her this year.
Given how Joe and Kathy are no longer on talking terms, Jeff suggested Melissa facilitate a reconciliation between the cousins.
He said to go and knock on Kathy’s door and strike up a conversation. Melissa agreed. But, now it seems Kathy may not be so open to the idea.
The former RHONJ star appears as a guest on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen’s After Show this July. Kathy said she thinks “it’s very convenient” that Melissa “wants to get back together.”
Kathy and Jen Aydin are good friends
While Kathy’s “convenience” quip may have come as a surprise to some fans of WWHL, more are in total shock over the history between Kathy and current RHONJ star Jennifer Aydin.
Andy Cohen asks: “Kathy, your daughter was the receptionist at Aydin Plastic Surgery?”
Gary Janetti jokes: “My head’s going to blow off.”
Kathy confirmed, adding: “Jennifer, Bill, and their whole family came to our first Christmas Eve in our new build when we lived there.”
Since the ladies’ decades-long friendship has been unveiled, Bravo fans are calling for a new cast line-up: “Give me Teresa, Melissa, Dolores, Jennifer, Kathy, and 2 newbies and I think we have a show!”
More viewers took to X (Twitter) to say: “KATHY WAKILE AND JEN AYDIN 10 YEAR FRIENDSHIP?????”
Others shared memes of the news, suggesting Margaret Josephs would now be onto Kathy: “Marge is working hard with Lexi and her team of trolls to go find dirt on Kathy after she heard Jen and Kathy knew each other for 10 years!”
