Shannon Beador opened up about the crash she had, which resulted in broken bones and a DUI in the space of ten seconds. The incident has left her RHOC co-star, Tamra Judge, with less respect for her.
In The Real Housewives of Orange County season 18 trailer, Shannon Beador becomes emotional with her daughters about the DUI she was charged with, following an argument with former partner, John.
RHOC’s Shannon Beador cries over DUI
Shannon Beador became emotional about getting a DUI, which impacted her visiting her daughter at university. She was charged with the DUI after getting into an accident following a fight with now-ex-partner, John.
The RHOC star shared, “I drove to John’s house stupidly, we got into a huge fight, he said, ‘You’re a drunken idiot, don’t get into your car’. Seconds later, I got into an accident.”
She told her kids, “It was my intent to come and visit you and because of my mistakes, I wasn’t able to come, and I feel bad. I’m so sorry and humiliated and disappointed, why can’t I be an example at 59?”
Tamra Judge ‘lost respect’ for co-star
Tamra Judge told her co-stars that she and Shannon were on the Tres Amigas tour, in which Beador had told people she was drinking Coke. “I felt it was bad taste to do a show after Shannon’s DUI,” she said.
She said in a confessional, “Like stop, take a beat, try to figure out what’s going on in your life. Stop drinking. I just lost respect. She could have killed herself. She could have killed her dog.”
Shannon told her daughters how her friends haven’t reached out after John publicly shared how he’s in a relationship with someone else. Beador claimed her co-stars know the lady in question.
Beador embarks on wellness journey
Shannon Beador has been focusing on healing after the DUI. She said that “God has a plan” and embarked on a wellness program for a month, as well as hired a psychiatrist and therapist.
She is “doing her best to try and turn a positive into this” and no longer wants John in her life. The Bravo star has also been hanging out with her three daughters, who forgive her for her mistakes.
They told her they’re “glad nobody was hurt” and acknowledged that she will “grow” from the incident. “You take accountability for your actions and you learn from them,” her daughters assured her.
