The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On was so popular in America that camera crews moved to South Africa for a new season. The Netflix dating show follows Nkateko and Khanya’s drama-filled relationship.
Khanya gives Nkateko The Ultimatum
Khanya and Nkateko had been together for a year, but she decided to give him The Ultimatum on the South Africa series, because she wanted loyalty, honesty and consistency from her partner.
She said, “I’m literally telling him, ‘Marry me now,’ I don’t have time,” while Nkateko isn’t 100 percent sure about their future. Khanya was matched with Isaac, while Nkateko had a trial marriage with Siza.
During the Netflix show, Khanya got into a screaming argument with Siza, which led to controversy online. Khanya has since apologised for her “out of line” actions and said the series is “in the past”.

Khanya is now a mother! She has shared photos with her baby, who appears to have been born on January 30, but only first revealed her pregnancy on December 10, 2023.
Neither Khanya nor Nkateko follow each other on Instagram and have no trace of their relationship on their social media pages. She wrote, “Being a mom is the best thing that’s ever happened to me.”
She has been going for runs while pushing her baby in a pram, and hinted at leaving her old life behind in a recent post. Khanya told her followers, “Out with the old in with the new.”
Where Nkateko is after The Ultimatum
Nkateko has been busy working out and hasn’t posted any signs of him being Khanya’s baby father. On April 16, he shared a gift bag with his name on and wrote, “To the hearts that never stop giving.”
Boxing is his passion, too, which he opened up about in a recent post. He said, “My boxing journey has shown what it takes to try and be the best at what you do and to keep pushing forward.”
There is no sign of a romantic partner on his social media page, but many fans have been urging him to split from Khanya as they watch the show, who says she has had “a lot of healing and transformation”.
