  • I am the Features Editor of The Birmingham Tab, creating ideas for light-hearted, more humorous articles - which can be a welcomed break from the more serious news pieces !
  • I am part of The University Women's Football Society, playing in the 6th team in year one and making it to BUCS with the 5th team in year two which has been a lot of fun and also allowed me to play at a higher standard
  • When I'm not writing essays or for The Tab, I still have a passion for painting and love exploring new music events and venues in Digbeth and around Birmingham

Experience

I started at The Tab in 2025, writing both news and feature articles for the University. Discovering an interesting story online this year and turning it into an article inspired me to become more involved in The Tab and become a part of the editorial team. The Tab has allowed me to gain experience in Journalism and has developed my skills.

Education

I studied a foundation year and a first year in fine art at Bournemouth before realising my interest lay with English. I then switched to English Literature and Language and am currently in my third year. As part of my degree I have discovered a passion for Journalism, which has only grown through writing for The Tab.
