MAFS Australia’s Grayson and Julia have very different reasons for their sudden split

I don’t know about you, but I was very, very confused by Julia and Grayson on MAFS Australia. They finally seemed to be getting along… then Julia said she was done with the relationship. Both Julia and Grayson have gone into more detail about why they split… but they gave wildly different reasons.

Grayson claimed ‘she just sort of disappeared’

Grayson told 9Entertainment that “‘lonely’ is the best word” to describe his time on MAFS. Aw. “I felt like I was on my own,” he shared.

He explained: “She wasn’t around much at all in the relationship. Off-camera, I never saw her. I never got a chance to hang out and go for a coffee with her. She just sort of disappeared.”

Apparently, as soon as Julia read out that letter, “she moved out, packed up and left”.

According to Julia, the couple had more problems than we saw on TV. She told the Daily Mail Australia: “There was a big argument that viewers didn’t really see.

“‘I was exhausted. I hadn’t slept for three nights because Grayson was snoring and I suffer from insomnia. I was an emotional wreck.

“I felt like he was annoyed at me for being exhausted. It escalated into a pretty big argument in my eyes, and I just thought, ‘This is definitely not how I want to be in a marriage.'”

Apparently, Julia had spoken more about these issues with Grayson on the day before she read out the letter. So, their break-up wasn’t as big of a shock for Grayson as it was for MAFS viewers.

“He said he wasn’t sure a burning desire was growing here,” she continued, “And I thought, ‘If I continue on this journey it’s not going to end well.’ I felt like no matter what I did, I couldn’t win. I was told I hadn’t tried hard enough, but if I stayed I would’ve been accused of leading him on.

“I told him off-camera the day before that I didn’t feel like this was moving forward. So, when I read the letter on-camera, and he acted shocked, that was confusing for me.”
