Aitch and Ginge’s close friendship before I’m A Celeb, and how they know each other

Aitch and Angry Ginge didn’t just spark up a bromance in the two days they’ve been in the I’m A Celeb jungle – they’re actually great pals and had a close friendship long before the show! 

A source told the Daily Mail: “It was a stroke of pure genius to sign up Aitch and Ginge, they’re best friends and it might be a risk as they’re both so boisterous but it’s new and nothing I’m A Celeb has seen before – it’s a risk that will pay off.

“Their banter and chemistry is off the charts, we’re over the moon about them both agreeing and doing what they do on the internet but in the Jungle, it’s bound to be a success.”

A look at Aitch and Angry Ginge’s real-life friendship before I’m A Celeb

Aitch and Ginge both come from Manchester and grew up about half an hour away from each other, but they’ve only known each other for a few years, since 2021.

They became friends through the gaming streamer and YouTuber Michael Taylor, better known as Tays, who has a podcast with Ginge called Tays & Ginge Off Stream.

Ginge and Tays met through the internet gaming world, while Tays and Aitch are childhood besties. Their parents are best friends too. So, Tays introduced Ginge and Aitch – and the rest is history!

Aitch has been on their podcast quite a few times, and they regularly stream together on Twitch and TikTok at each others’ houses. The trio have also filmed a few challenge videos on Tays’ YouTube channel, including an extreme general knowledge quiz and alphabet game.

When Central Cee made a diss track about the rapper earlier this year, Ginge rushed to his pal’s defence, saying on a stream: “Is that it? You’ve acted it up like he’s gone at Aitch, he’s dissed Aitch, I’ve got my chest buffed up here, ready to go to all out war for me mate, and he says that. Don’t waste my time again.”

In a voice note to Aitch, he then said: “Hiya mate, just a quick one, I’ve heard what’s been going on about this Central Cee song. Obviously, I’m here ready to go to war for you mate, just let me know what sort of vibe it is.

“If it’s kind of, we’re just going to leave it and see what happens, or if you want me to get the f***ing baseball bat out and we’re f***ing going at it, you just let me know mate all right, nice one, see what he says there.”

Their bromance is already becoming one of the best parts of I’m A Celeb 2025.
