Where Alan Carr and Paloma Faith really stand after The Celebrity Traitors, examined

So, the very first “murder” of The Celebrity Traitors was when the Traitor Alan Carr bumped off his real life bestie, Paloma Faith. Yes, this was on TV several weeks ago. And yes, this was all filmed back in April. Yet Alan Carr and Paloma Faith seem to still be feuding after he disposed of her on The Celebrity Traitors. It’s getting hard to tell how much they’re joking, and how much they actually hate each other’s guts. Here’s everything we know about Alan Carr and Paloma Faith’s beef after The Celebrity Traitors, investigated.

Paloma keeps complaining about Alan ‘killing’ her on The Celebrity Traitors

Like, constantly. Right after The Celebrity Traitors premiered, she fumed about being killed on The Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked podcast. The host Ed Gamble suggested Alan might have picked Paloma just because she was in the right place at the right time. Paloma responded: “I think you’re being nice. If the shoe was on the other foot, I would not have touched Alan’s face. Categorically, he had a choice – maybe it was the easiest option, but it was the choice he made and I don’t think it was very nice.

“I still maintain to this day that if the shoe was on the other foot, I wouldn’t have done that. So, I don’t think he should have done it to me and I’m surprised that he did.”

Paloma has also posted many, many videos complaining about being killed off on the show.

When an Instagram user commented, “I thought Alan was your friend”, Paloma responded, “So did I!” Ouch.

It’s getting a bit hard to tell to what extent this is all for lols, and to what extent this stems from genuine bitterness.

Some Traitors viewers thought Alan snubbed her on social media

On 25th October, Paloma Faith announced via Instagram that she was pregnant. Traitors viewers were quick to spot that although Claudia Winkleman and other Traitors cast members rushed to congratulate her, Alan Carr didn’t respond. Perhaps this is evidence they now hate each other. Or, perhaps some friends prefer to communicate with each other through different methods to public Instagram comment sections.

On 27th October, Alan Carr was asked on his Life’s A Beach podcast about being Paloma’s mate. He responded that he “was” – note the past tense.

He went into more depth about their conversations after the show. “She’s not happy about it. There have been a few little TikToky things where she says I’ve let her down because I killed her in plain sight. I was desperate and she went, ‘If you were a real friend, you wouldn’t have killed me. But I said: ‘I’m the Traitor. The show’s called The Traitors. It’s like going on Naked Attraction and being told, ‘What, I have to take my knickers off?’ It does what it says on the tin. I can’t help it.”
