No arrest made, but all the consequences D4vd has faced since body discovered in his Tesla
Brands have backed away and artists have distanced themselves
No arrest has been made since the discovery of the body of 15 year old Celeste Rivas in a Tesla registered to singer D4vd. The latest statement we have from representatives of D4vd confirm he is cooperating with police in their investigation. It’s been confirmed by the authorities that a property rented and stayed in by D4vd has been searched for evidence and that a computer amongst other samples were seized – and yet D4vd remains silent. But despite the fact no arrest has been made, here are the consequences that have happened since the discovery of Celeste Rivas inside the Tesla owned by D4vd.
Brands have distanced themselves immediately
Big brands such as Crocs and Hollister pulled all advertisement collaborations with D4vd upon the discovery of the body, pending further investigation. Crocs had a collab with D4vd called Dream Drops that was pulled, and Hollister removed its advertisements with him from its website.
Collaborator and friend Kali Uchis distances herself from him
D4vd and Kali Uchis have a collaborative song titled Crashing. On September 17th, Kali Uchis announced she would be pulling the song and stated that she was working to have Crashing removed entirely from streaming services after Celeste’s body was found.

Deluxe version of his album was due out on Friday, but was indefinitely delayed
A deluxe version of D4vd’s 2025 album was set to have been released this last Friday, titled Withered. However, UMG has cancelled all promotional activity related to D4vd as the investigation continues. The deluxe version of the album never released and has been indefinitely delayed.
All tour dates remaining have been scrapped

When the car was found to have human remains, later identified to be 15 year old Celeste Rivas, D4vd continued to perform on his scheduled tour dates. Once the body was identified, all his scheduled tour dates for the Withered tour were pulled. His UK tour dates, including ones at the Roundhouse in London and some in Glasgow have now all been cancelled as the investigation continues.
Despite the fact no arrest has been made in relation to this case at all, the career D4vd was enjoying has faced significant consequences.
