Brigitte Macron forced to prove she is a woman with scientific and photographic evidence

Conspiracy theories have spiraled for months

In a bid to prove that she was born a woman, Brigitte Macron will provide the court with photographic and scientific evidence in her ongoing legal battle with right-wing influencer Candace Owens.

Back in July, Brigitte and her husband, French President Emmanuel Macron, filed a defamation lawsuit against Candace. She claimed that Brigitte was born a man, something Brigitte herself denied as she branded the influencer’s claims “outlandish, defamatory, and far-fetched fictions” that ignited a fib-filled “campaign of global humiliation” and “relentless bullying.”

“Because Ms Owens systematically reaffirmed these falsehoods in response to each of our attorneys’ repeated requests for a retraction, we ultimately concluded that referring the matter to a court of law was the only remaining avenue for remedy,” the couple said at the time.

“Ms Owens’ campaign of defamation was plainly designed to harass and cause pain to us and our families and to garner attention and notoriety. We gave her every opportunity to back away from these claims, but she refused. It is our earnest hope that this lawsuit will set the record straight and end this campaign of defamation once and for all.”

Okay, so what’s the latest development in Brigitte Macron vs Candace Owens?

The lawyer representing Brigitte and Emmanuel Macron, Tom Clare – not to be confused with Love Island’s Tom Clare – recently sat down on BBC’s Fame under Fire podcast to discuss the lawsuit. According to him, Brigitte finds the whole situation “upsetting”, and her husband calls it a “distraction.”

Hoping to prove their claims of defamation, the French couple have shared their intention to give the court “expert testimony” and evidence that proves Brigitte was born a woman.

“Expert testimony will come out that will be scientific in nature,” he said.

“It is a process that she will have to subject herself to in a very public way. But she is firmly resolved to do what it takes to set the record straight.”

Among the evidence is reportedly Brigitte’s pregnancy photos and images of her raising their kids, Laurence, Sébastien Auzière, and Tiphaine Auzière.

Candace Owens, who is currently mourning the loss of former bestie Charlie Kirk, responded to the news by filing a motion to dismiss the lawsuit. She’s claimed that the lawsuit should not have been filed in Delaware, where her businesses are located.
