All the celebrities who have unfollowed singer D4vd after body in car is identified
Kali Uchis clarified where she stands with him
A few weeks ago, a body was found in award-winning singer D4vd, real name David Anthony Burke’s car. The body has now been identified as 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, who was reported missing last year. She was last seen on the 15th of April 2024.
D4vd has almost 35 million monthly listeners on Spotify, and two of his songs have over a billion streams. He’s collaborated with many major artists, including Kali Uchis, and has been featured in the soundtracks for Emmy-winning shows Invincible and Arcane.
As details of the case continue to be released, multiple celebrities have reacted by unfollowing D4vd on Instagram. This includes Kali Uchis, Tyler, the Creator, Daniel Caesar, Addison Rae and Ice Spice.
Kali Uchis has replied to a comment calling D4vd her friend, saying: “Not my friend. I did a song with him, which is currently in the process of being taken down, given today’s disturbing news.”

She then responded to a comment defending her, saying: “It’s ok bb, women like her are the reason women always take the blame for the transgressions of men lol, the internalised misogyny of this world I guess.”
D4vd and Kali’s song, Crashing, has almost forty million streams on Spotify. It was released earlier this year as part of D4vd’s first studio album, WITHERING, along with a music video that features both artists.
The Columbian pop star is currently on a US tour for her latest album, Sincerely.
D4vd has reportedly been co-operating with the police investigation into the case of Celeste Rivas. TMZ has claimed that that Celeste and the singer have matching tattoos of the phrase “Shhh…” on their index fingers, a tattoo popularised by Rhianna.
