She also posted a chilling video panning down the late media personality’s dead body before holding his hand and kissing it in floods of tears. In the coffin, he is wearing a navy blue suit, a white shirt and a red tie.

Another emotional clip shows staff wheeling the grand mahogany coffin and lifting it into a car. In the caption, she shared a touching tribute to her late husband where she spoke about how “evil” the world is.

“The world is evil. But our Saviour. Our Lord. Our God. Не…Не is so good. I will never have the words. Ever. The sound of this widow weeping echoes throughout this world like a battle cry. I have no idea what any of this means. But baby, I know you do and so does our Lord,” she said.

“They have no idea what they just ignited within this wife. If they thought my husband’s mission was big now..you have no idea. You. All of you. Will never. Ever. Forget my husband @charliekirk1776, I’ll make sure of it.

“Rest in the arms of our Lord baby as he blankets you with the words I know your heart always strived to hear, ‘Well done my good and faithful servant’.”

Erika has since spoken out about her husband’s death in a public statement and shared how much she is struggling to tell her children what has happened to their dad.
