The real love lives of the Young Sheldon cast are way less chaotic than their characters
The actor who plays Georgie recently got married
Young Sheldon basically had us hooked since it was released in 2017. The show ended last year with a very emotional but appropriate ending, and none of our lives have been the same since.
But while Sheldon, Georgie, and the gang were navigating Texas school life and on-screen romances, the actors behind the scenes have been living their own pretty interesting love lives. Some are married, some are keeping things private, and a couple are basically flying solo.
So, if you’ve ever wondered who the Young Sheldon cast is actually dating IRL, here’s the full rundown of their real-life love lives.
Iain Armitage
Iain, who plays our socially awkward genius Sheldon, has basically stolen hearts on-screen, but IRL, he’s keeping things super private. The young actor hasn’t publicly dated anyone and is focusing on acting and, believe it or not, flying, he’s got his student pilot’s licence and is aiming for a private one next. Loads of focus and zero dating drama.
Raegan Revord
Raegan plays Sheldon’s twin sister Missy, who’s actually loves Sheldon but doesn’t really like him. They recently came out as non-binary. They told Entertainment Tonight. ” It’s so cool because growing up, whenever I would see a celebrity or whoever come out as non-binary or queer, I was like, ‘Oh my god, this is so cool, I see myself in you.” Now, whether they’re single or just keeping their dating life super private, it’s a big mystery.
Jim Parsons

Jim Parsons, the original Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory, is off the market, obviously. He’s been with his husband, Todd Spiewak, since 2002 after a quirky blind karaoke date. How cute is that? They finally tied the knot in 2017. They now run their own production company together. Basically, a real-life power couple with a seriously sweet story.
Lance Barber
Lance, who plays Sheldon’s dad, is married to Aliza Barber, a professional chef, according to the Battle Creek Enquirer. They’ve got two kids and are keeping things nice and low-key. So unlike his character, who sometimes seems stressed, Lance’s off-screen life is pretty chill and grounded.
Zoe Perry

Zoe, our Mary Cooper, quietly tied the knot with director and producer Gab Taraboulsy in 2022. She’s given viewers just little glimpses of their relationship, like sharing the story of her engagement. They’re basically keeping it private but clearly happy together.
Montana Jordan
Montana, who plays Georgie, has been dating his high school sweetheart, Jenna Weeks, for ages. In May 2024, they welcomed their first daughter, Emma Rae, announced their engagement in January 2025, and had a “classic cowboy” themed wedding in June. Classic Georgie!
Emily Osment
Emily, who plays Mandy, has recently been divorced. She got married to musician Jack Anthony in October 2024, but by March 2025, their divorce was finalised. She’s keeping things very private now and seems focused on work and life beyond the drama.
Annie Potts
Annie, our legendary Meemaw, has been married to director James Hayman since 1990. They met on a film set, hit it off immediately, and have two sons together. Annie also has an older son from a previous marriage. Basically, they’ve got a long-lasting, super solid family life off-screen.
