An entire year later, Catherine and Freddie from Love Is Blind UK are beefing AGAIN

Their series of Love Is Blind UK might have aired an entire year ago, but Catherine Richards and Freddie Powell are still going at one another. The Netflix dating show is back for season two, and at the same time Freddie is appearing on the new season of Perfect Match.

The first season of Love Is Blind UK aired in August 2024. Catherine and Freddie met in the pods, and agreed to get married. They had their ups and downs, and on the wedding day, Catherine said “I do” but Freddie decided to walk away.

After the show aired, Freddie said: “We’re still friends, and I have a lot of love for her, we gave it a go for a little bit, but it just wasn’t meant to be.” But, Catherine doesn’t seem on the same page. Awkward.

As Freddie was announced for the new show, Catherine made a dig at him that has made her feelings very clear. There’s bad blood, and we definitely shouldn’t expect them to work things out.

On her Instagram story, Catherine posted a promotional clip from Perfect Match. In it, Freddie said: “I’ve been single since Love Is Blind. I think it’s fair to say I didn’t find my perfect match.” Catherine added a bunch of big nose, “lying face” emojis.

Catherine’s comments after the show were very different from what he said about their relationship. They appear to give some context as to what she might be hinting at now.

At the time, Catherine explained: “Freddie was saying one thing to my family and friends [and another] to me off camera. There’s a very different side to Freddie. [That’s] why I was very insecure throughout the whole way. A lot of stuff came out of the woodwork.”

Yikes.
