OnlyFans model’s mother shares horrific details of what she went through in Dubai attack

‘It looked as if it was done with a knife’

The mother of Ukrainian OnlyFans model Maria Kovalchuk has shared chilling new details about what her daughter allegedly went through before she was found severely injured on a roadside in Dubai.

Maria, now 21, vanished in March after attending what she thought was a luxury party at a five-star hotel. When she was finally found, she had a broken spine, multiple fractures, deep wounds to her head, and no memory of what had happened to her.

Now recovering in Norway, where she lives with her mother, Maria has begun to share parts of her story, but her mother has revealed even more disturbing details.

So, what has her mother shared?

Speaking on a Ukrainian TV show Hovoryt vsia kraina, Maria’s mother Anna described the moment she saw her daughter in hospital for the first time. “It was a shock. If you saw the stitches on the head, how the scalp [had to be] sewn back on….,” Anna said. “My impression is that it was just done like this, with a knife, and right across the face.”

According to Anna, doctors confirmed that Maria’s hair hadn’t been cut at the hospital, it had been hacked off before she arrived. “It looked as if it was done with a knife from the centre of the head all the way down to the eye, and the hair was cut off.”

Photos from the hospital show deep gashes running across Maria’s scalp and down to her face, injuries her mother believes were inflicted with a knife.

‘They wanted to break her psychologically’

Maria had travelled to Dubai for a short visit but ended up at a party hosted by a group of “rich Russian kids”. “They took her [passport], phone, and said she belonged to them and would do what they say,” Anna said. “They wanted to break her psychologically.”

Anna believes her daughter was held against her will and abused over several days. “She had tearing under both armpits and a broken collarbone, like she’d been dragged,” Anna said. “Then I believe they beat her and threw her from the car.”

Maria spent weeks in a coma, undergoing multiple surgeries. One leg is now paralysed, and she’s learning to walk with crutches. “She’s had three operations on one leg, three on the other, two on her spine, and one on her shoulder blade,” Anna said. “One leg has an open fracture with ten centimetres [4 inches] of bone missing. She currently has an implant from the hip down. That leg is now paralysed, with no sensation.”

Maria’s attackers have not been charged

Despite the serious nature of her injuries, no one has been held accountable. Dubai police reportedly arrested two men identified by Maria. But they were released the next day without charge.

The case was later closed with authorities claiming it was a suicide attempt, saying Maria had jumped from the eighth floor of a nearby building. But a neurosurgeon who later examined Maria said her injuries didn’t match the official theory, that she fell from a building. Instead, the wounds looked more like she had been violently beaten, or possibly hit by a car.

Anna also believes authorities in Dubai allegedly paid for Maria’s medical bills to avoid bad publicity. “They said they would pay if we didn’t speak badly about the Emirates,” she claimed. “But by then, the story was already spreading online.”

Her mother now suspects a wider trafficking scheme may be behind the incident.

To this day, Maria’s attackers have not been charged. And the CCTV footage that could have shown what happened was deleted before police reviewed it.

Maria is now recovering quietly in Norway with her mother.
