As the absurdly young tennis players took to Centre Court for Wimbledon’s Championship matches last weekend (don’t look up their ages if you want to feel even slightly accomplished in your 20s), celebs were also giving fans something to drool over in the stands of the prestigious tournament. If your eyes were too firmly glued to centre court, don’t worry, we’ve rounded up the key Wimbledon 2025 celebrities and their key moments that you might have missed.

Hats in summer? Groundbreaking. Apparently not so for Ms Wintour, who snubbed the stereotypical attire handed out to Royal Box attendees and instead opted to maintain her sleek bob without the challenge of battling hat hair. Although the fashion icon is partial to a pair of oversized sunglasses, the complementary straw hat was kept far away from her head and used as a fan instead. I’m sure she and Tom Ford, who she was pictured alongside at the men’s semi-final, are already designing a better alternative.

This kid doesn’t pay taxes and he lives in royal palaces, what does he have to be stressed about? Apparently quite a lot. Adopting a gravely concerned face during the final, his stance was less “11-year-old boy” and more “major world leader struggling with national security issues” (cue that viral Obama photo, you know the one).

But it was a bit of a royal affair, as Catherine, Princess of Wales, was also there to hand Jannik Sinner the men’s Championship trophy on Sunday, accompanied by her husband William. Arriving to watch the women’s final on Saturday with daughter Princess Charlotte, she received a standing ovation from the crowd who welcomed her warmly. This was in keeping with last years audience applause meant to demonstrate solidarity with the Princess’ cancer diagnosis, which she is now in remission from.

Sporting neon pink nails that stood out as she fanned herself in the heat, Charlotte also reminded spectators that she is her mother’s daughter through and through, a fashion icon in the making.

Hugh Grant literally fell asleep

The action of the day seemed to overwhelm the usually nonchalant Hugh Grant as he dozed off in the stands during one of the men’s semi-finals. Sweet dreams! (I’m still dreaming about the scene with him climbing out of the lake in Bridget Jones Diary).

Daisy Edgar-Jones and Paul Mescal drove us all crazy

Well a girl can dream right? Although both stars were present at the men’s final, they did not sit together and the only real connection of the match was the bromance that continues to blossom between Paul Mescal and his All of Us Strangers costar, Andrew Scott. Sat next to the Scott-Mescal power couple was Keira Knightley, whom the two exchanged laughs with. Can we pitch a new period drama with the three of them just to have pretty people yearning mournfully on our screens again? #bringbackyearning. 

Orlando Bloom continued his string of public appearances after split from Katy Perry

Forget brooding and solitary, Orlando seems to be in good spirits for someone who announced their split from previous partner Perry just a month before. Having attended Oasis’s Manchester concert the night before the men’s final, Bloom likely ruffled some feathers as he sat sipping a Pimm’s court side on Sunday. The internet has been rife with speculation regarding the reason why the couple ended their engagement but no concrete answer has been revealed as yet. We’ll keep you updated if we hear anymore…
