The huge age gaps between the characters on Ginny and Georgia, and the actors who play them

Ginny and Georgia is back, Peaches! It’s been a huge two and a half years since we last had the show in our lives. That has meant the child and teenage cast have grown up a lot, meaning many of the Ginny and Georgia cast members have real life ages that are completely different to the characters they portray.

As it stands, we have actors well over 10 years older than their characters. They’re nearly 30, and trying to tell us they’re 15, and learning to how to navigate school and awkward relationships. Sure!

Here are the ages of the cast of Ginny and Georgia, compared to the characters they play in the show.

Antonia Gentry – Ginny Miller

Age: 27

Character age: 16

First up we have our fav hot mess, Ginny herself. She’s played by Antonia Gentry, who is 27 in real life. In the show, Ginny is meant to be 16, a whole 11 years younger.

Diesel La Torraca – Austin

Age: 14

Character age: 9

People have joked that during season three, Ginny’s younger brother Austin has aged like 10 years over night. I swear he was always a baby? He’s nine in the show, and Diesel La Torraca who plays him is five years older, at 14.

Sara Waisglass – Max

Age: 26

Character age: 16

Max is Ginny’s bestie, constantly in turmoil over her love life. She’s played by Sara Waisglass who is 26, exactly 10 years older than her character.

Felix Mallard – Marcus

Age: 27

Character age: 16

Max’s twin, and Georgia’s on and off boyfriend, Marcus, is played by Felix Mallard. Towards the end of season two, Marcus and Ginny were learning more about each other’s dark sides. In real life, Felix is 27 and his character is 16 – 11 years younger.

Katie Douglas – Abby

Age: 26

Character age: 15

Another member of the iconic MANG friendship group is Abby, played by Katie Douglas. Katie is 26 in real life, making her 11 years older than her on-screen character, who is 15.

Chelsea Clark – Nora

Age: 27

Character age: 15

Nora completes MANG. Chelsea Clark, who plays her, is 27. This means she’s a huge 12 years older than her character, as Nora is meant to be 15 in Ginny and Georgia.

Ty Doran – Wolfe

Age: 27

Character age: 16

Wolfe is probably better known as “poetry guy”. He’s 16, and played by 27-year-old actor, Ty Doran.

Brianne Howey – Georgia

Character age: 31

Obviously Brianne Howey isn’t one of our teen favs, but it would be wrong to have something about Ginny and Georgia not mention THE Georgia. Brianne is 36, and Georgia is meant to be slightly younger, at 31.
