In full: Meet the 12 official Islanders heading into the Love Island 2025 villa

It’s that time of year again! Today, ITV has finally given us the official cast of Love Island 2025. The show is set to start next week, and we have 12 Islanders who will soon be our biggest obsessions.

Love Island season 12 will begin on ITV2 and ITVX on Monday 9th June at 9pm. Maya Jama will return to the Mallorca villa as the show’s host. It’s expected to be another eight week, long and hot summer.

For the last few weeks, we’ve had absolutely loads of rumoured Islanders. But now it’s time for the official list. Here’s a rundown of the cast of Love Island 2025. We have everything from motivational speakers, to gardeners and taxi drivers.

Sophie

Age: 29

Sophie is a motivational speaker and author from Manchester. She said she wants someone who is fun, spontaneous, and who has “a lot of jokes and who is attentive.” Sophie added: “At the moment I’m only finding ones draped in red flags and ‘do not cross’ signs.”

Dejon

Age: 26

26-year-old Dejon is a personal trainer from London. Dejon is looking for someone who is “beautiful on the inside and out, looks after themselves and is healthy.” He said his claim to fame is that his dad is an ex-professional footballer.

Dejon said : “I’ve met all kinds of famous people through him. When I was younger it was weird because he was just my dad, but we’d go to a game and fans were asking for photos. I’ve met David Beckham, he was really nice.”

Meg

Age: 25

Meg is payroll specialist from Southampton. When asked who she’s looking for, Meg said: “I’d like to meet someone who is tall, with a nice tan, nice eyes and a nice smile. He needs to have a good fashion sense and a really good, funny personality that I can get on with.”

Tommy

Age: 22

Tommy is a landscape gardener from Hertfordshire. When asked what he’s looking for, he said: “A girl who is very ambitious, with a big personality, caring, but also someone that doesn’t take themselves too seriously. I don’t know if that’s asking for too much, but I want a bit of everything. I haven’t got a specific type in terms of looks, though.”

Alima

Age: 23

Alima is looking for a tall man with a handsome face. She added: “You know when you just look at a guy and they have that Disney prince look to them? That’s it.” Alima is from Glasgow and works as  a wealth management client services executive.

Ben

Age: 23

Up next is Ben, who is also 23. He’s from Gloucester and works as a private hire taxi driver. He said he wants “someone sexy, good looking, good chat, good vibes, nice teeth and good eye contact – they’re all the traits I look for. Oh, and also a cute smile, I just look at you and know I can be around you all day, every day.”

Helena

Age: 29

Helena is cabin crew, and she’s from London. When asked what she’s after, she said: “Somebody funny or northern. I feel like Northern people have much more banter than southerners. If you look through my previous dating history, you’ll see I clearly go for personality. You can pretty much laugh me into bed.”

Kyle

Age: 23

Kyle is 23 and a water operative from Stafford. His type is someone who is fun, confident and “just themselves”. He said his flirting style is to “find something to compliment a girl on and go from there.”

Megan

Age: 24

Up next is Megan. She said she wants someone who “doesn’t take themselves too seriously and has a sense of humour. If they’re not bad looking, that’s always a plus.” She added: “I love a boy that’s a bit pasty, like Timothée Chalamet. I don’t mind scrawny, or a bit of a ‘dad bod’. I’m 5ft1 so any height really.”

Megan is from Dublin, but lives in Brighton. She works as a musical theatre performer and energy broker.

Blu

Age: 26

Blu is a 26-year-old construction project manager from London. With a name like that he should be in a boy band, but here we are. When asked what kind of person he’s looking for, Blu said: “Someone who is family oriented, has a lot of love to give and a lot of love to receive. Personality goes a long way.”

Shakira

Age: 22

22-year-old Shakira is from Burnley, and works in marketing. “It’s a busy love life but I’ve not found ‘the husband’. I’m looking for ‘the one’. I’m looking for the ring,” she said. Shakira is after a man who is “tall, charming, witty, with big arms, a good smile and just really funny.”

Harry

Age: 30

Our final cast member for Love Island 2025 is footballer and model, Harry. As well as that, he somehow fits in being a gold trader, too. Fun fact about Harry? He’s a body double for Declan Rice. “So when he does a shoot, any body close ups will actually be me,” Harry explained. “You’ll never see my face, but you’ll see my shoulder or chest, that kind of thing.”
