Erm, Awhina revealed the MAFS groom she actually wanted to marry and it’s rather surprising

MAFS Australia bride Awhina Rutene has revealed the cast member she would have loved to be matched with. I’m not strictly against the pairing, but I wouldn’t have guessed it in a million years.

First, a recap. Awhina was matched with glaring red flag Adrian Araouzou, and though they had physical attraction down, he severely lacked the emotional maturity to take the relationship any further. It became immediately clear, just a few episodes in, that they weren’t set to last, which was basically confirmed when there was a cheating scandal between Adrian and Sierah Swepstone. Come home-stays week, the final nail in the coffin was hammered in when Adrian’s friends berated Awhina and her twin sister, Cleo.

Shocker, Awhina and Adrian are no longer on speaking terms, and they don’t even follow one another on Instagram. But, do you know who Awhina follows? The hubby she actually wanted to get hitched with.

Soooo, which MAFS groom did Awhina actually want to marry?

After getting their Instagram handles back just last week, the cast of MAFS Australia season 12 have been updating their followers and revealing juicy intel about the show. Jamie Marinos teased a possible reunion with Dave Hand, Beth Kelly dished on the state of her relationship with Teejay, and some revealed their favourite moments.

In an Instagram Q&A, which also saw her name and shame the fakest cast member, Awhina revealed the groom she wished the experts had matched her with. Drum roll, please.

It was none other than Tony Mojanovski!

Tony was married to Morena Farina on the show, and he had about as much luck with his bride as Awhina had with her husband. An odd pairing for sure, but if Awhina is game, then so am I – it’s not like a judgement has bit her in the booty before.

Ironically, Awhina is not the only cast member to have wanted a different match, and she’s not even the only cast member who wishes they were married to Tony. In her own Instagram Q&A, Sierah also revealed how she wanted to marry Tony.
