Dawn Richard shares graphic details of disturbing acts she allegedly saw Diddy do to Cassie
‘She came into the bathroom crying’
Singer Dawn Richard gave testimony in court this week, sharing graphic details about alleged abuse she says she witnessed between Sean “Diddy” Combs and his ex-girlfriend, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura.
Dawn Richard, a former artist signed to Diddy’s Bad Boy Records from 2005 to 2011, told jurors she saw Diddy get violent with Cassie multiple times. She claimed the abuse happened when Cassie tried to speak up for herself. According to courtroom reports from Inner City Press, Dawn Richard, in graphic detail, claimed she saw Diddy act violently toward Cassie, who is a key witness in the trial.
When asked by federal prosecutor Christy Slavik how she interpreted Diddy’s past statement that “people could go missing,” she replied, “That people could die. I couldn’t believe that this could be the beginning of a journey for us.”
Dawn Richard recalled one specific incident at a music festival in Central Park. She said she was at Diddy’s residence when he allegedly punched Cassie. “She came into the bathroom crying,” she told the court. “You could see her upset. Like, she was hurt—.” Her statement was cut off when Diddy’s lawyer objected, and the judge sustained it.

Dawn Richard also claimed she once saw Cassie with a swollen eye. She said Diddy slapped Cassie and told her to “shut the f*** up.” “I asked myself, if he did that to someone he supposedly loved, what would he do to an employee?” she added. “So I’d approach Mr. Combs with softness.”
