MAFS Australia 2025 may have finished, but the mess is far from over. Lots of grooms still seem to be beefing. They’re dragging each other at every opportunity. Here is a proper explanation of the feud that’s split the MAFS Australia 2025 grooms in half. Beware, it gets complicated.

The grooms seem to be split into distinct friendship groups

Billy and Dave are besties, and are also pretty friendly with Jeff. Dave and Billy are beefing with both Adrian and Eliot, who is still friends with Teejay.

Billy really dragged Eliot in an interview

Remember Eliot’s list of “non-negotiables” and his rather controversial comments on womankind right at the start of the show? Billy was not impressed by this behaviour. He told the Daily Mail Australia: “I’ve never met a character like Eliot. I don’t surround myself with people like that. He says that he wants someone from the 1950s. Does he know that we’re in the 2000s now? We don’t live in that time anymore.”

Billy said he found Eliot’s behaviour confusing. “It’s not that I didn’t get on with him. It’s just—I’ve never really surrounded myself with someone that was saying some of the things that he did. So yeah, it was…it baffled me. It baffled me.”

He then carefully gave his thoughts on their relationship. “I wholly doubt she’s going to sleep with three cast members from this year’s season. I think it’s just a TikTok Instagram thing, whatever they’re doing.”

Eliot and Jamie then made TikToks dragging Dave for dragging their relationship. I warned you this feud stuff gets complicated.

Eliot is constantly bashing the other grooms on TikTok

For the uninitiated, Eliot has a TikTok account devoted to making fun of other MAFS contestants (and also for posting some very wholesome dog videos). He’s made plenty of jabs at the other MAFS contestants. I am not exaggerating. In a matter of weeks, Eliot has churned out one TikTok making fun of Adrian, one about Carina, one about Paul, two about Clint, three about Ryan, six about Jacqui, eight about Billy, nine about Lauren, 13 about Dave, and a whopping 15 about Veronica. And also two making fun of Robert Irwin, but I feel that’s unrelated.

One video joked that Dave called him “big meanie”. Other videos featured Eliot pretending to be Dave reacting to the news that he and Jamie are in a relationship. There are also plenty of videos joking about the possibility of Dave sleeping with Veronica during the couples’ swap challenge.
